Luke: Jesus and the Outsiders, Outcasts and Outlaws - Jesus’ journey to Jerusalem, a trip that most likely only took about nine days, comprises 40% of Luke’s gospel. This is an indication that Luke thinks this is important stuff and therefore, we should take note. This Sunday, we’ll focus on the story of the healing of the Samaritan leper that again demonstrates Jesus’s passion for lifting up the lowly.
